THE QUEST for promotion back to the County Championship’s top tier will begin in earnest at Colwyn Bay, where Lancashire and Glamorgan meet in a clash between the pacesetters.
Lancashire renew their red-ball campaign sitting pretty at the top of Division Two, having gone through their opening ten games unbeaten with five wins and five draws.
But they will face their toughest test to date when they travel to the north coast of Wales, where they will face their nearest challengers in Glamorgan, who are joint-second with Gloucestershire.
