HEAD coach David Ripley said Northamptonshire “looked a good, wellbalanced and confident side” after completing a solid seven wicket win over Leicestershire.
The 23-point return leaves Ripley’s men second in Division Two, with games to play against promotion rivals Durham at home and Gloucestershire away.
“Durham in particular looks like it’s going to be a cracker,” said Ripley.
