DEAN ELGAR composed his 50th first-class century as he and Tom Westley dropped anchor to secure a draw against Durham, who had hit a mammoth 587 in the first innings.
Former South Africa international Elgar batted the whole of the final day to make sure Durham didn’t have a sniff of victory.
