A DOGGED rearguard action from Warwickshire denied Hampshire a third successive victory as a hard-fought match ended in a tense draw at Edgbaston.
In-form Hampshire chose to bat but compiled a patchy first innings total. Only Fletcha Middleton passed 50 against a strong Warwickshire seam attack. Olly Hannon-Dalby was the pick of the bowlers, taking his 350th first-class wicket on the way to 3-35.
