CHARLIE Morris led a late fightback as Worcestershire thwarted Gloucestershire’s advances on a helter-skelter first day at Bristol.
Richard Dawson’s side looked wellplaced to make a commanding first-innings total but a last-gasp burst from the visitors pegged Gloucester back as they lost 5-18 in a calamitous collapse.
Gloucestershire encountered some choppy waters against Alex Gidman’s visitors, as Morris took 3-35 to leave the game in the balance.
