Overton’s on point in a flurry of wickets

TWENTY-ONE wickets fell at Wantage Road as Somerset had the better of a hugely-turbulent first day against Northamptonshire. Ben Sanderson starred for the hosts by claiming a five-wicket haul to bowl Somerset out for 166 but the visitors brilliantly took the ascendancy after tea as they dismissed Northamptonshire for just 67.
Despite the loss of Tom Lammonby for a second ball duck, Somerset closed on 15-1, leading by 114 runs.
Earlier, Ben Curran (35) and Ricardo Vasconcelos saw off the new ball and got the home side to 46-1 when the fall of the latter prompted...
