LANCASHIRE coach Glen Chapple has hailed his side’s “dominant” performance to kickstart their Bob Willis Trophy campaign with an impressive victory at Emirates Riverside.
The Red Rose notched their first victory in the competition, brushing aside James Franklin’s out-of-sorts Durham with consummate ease.
Fine performances from Richard Gleeson, Liam Hurt, Tom Bailey, Luke Wood and Josh Bohannon allowed the visitors to claim the win inside three days and by an innings and 18 runs.
