NORTHAMPTONSHIRE will be hoping to take their T20 form into the Bob Willis Trophy as they conclude their first-class season with a trip to Bristol.
Neither they nor hosts Gloucestershire can earn a spot in the final so the focus for both will be finishing well as they prepare for Division One cricket next summer.
The two sides earned promotion together in 2019 - celebrating as one in the Nevil Road changing rooms on a washedout final day - but this summer has seen them record just one four-day win apiece.
