TOM Lammonby underlined his burgeoning class with a fine century against Essex on day four of an enthralling Bob Willis Trophy final, yet his heroics may still not be enough to stop last year’s county champions claiming another piece of silverware.
Lammonby’s third hundred in just his sixth match since making his first-class debut at the start of the summer has kept Somerset in this contest.
