Joe Denly has signed a new long-term contract with Kent, having impressed in Division Two this season.
Denly, 30, has scored seven half-centuries and three centuries this season, including a career-best 206 not out.
The batsman made his first-class debut for Kent in 2004 and returned to the garden of England in 2014 after a three-year spell at Middlesex.
Denly said: “I am enjoying my cricket as much as I ever have and feel I’m entering my prime years as a batsman.
“I look forward to contributing towards hopefully bringing silverware back to The Spitfire Ground over the next few years.”
Kent have not disclosed the length of Denly’s new deal.
