Ahead of another action-packed summer of cricket in 2020, Edgbaston, in partnership with official hospitality provider Keith Prowse, have confirmed the launch of a new, family-oriented package. This makes the stadium the first UK cricket venue to offer a child-friendly hospitality option at major match day cricket.
This new bundle, containing one adult and one child place, will be available for all weekend days of major matches at Edgbaston in 2020, with a 25% discount on an under-16s place.
The family package is available to purchase now for
Day 2 & Day 3 of the West Indies Test match, Ireland ODI and Vitality Blast
Finals Day by visiting the Keith Prowse website
or contacting an Account Manager on 0121 369 1994 (Option 4).
This package will be available to purchase in the Experience Club, an informal, affordable way of soaking up the electric Edgbaston atmosphere with an incredible view of all the action.
The Experience Club provides the perfect setting
for the whole family with an interactive Game Zone, including VR fun and
driving simulators, offering a great addition to the on-field entertainment.
This packages also incorporates relaxed, street food style dining with an
extensive range to cater for all.
Chief Operating Officer at Edgbaston Stadium, Craig
Flindall said: “Following a historic year of cricket in 2019, we have been
looking at new ways we can engage with cricket fans, of multiple generations,
and create new opportunities to experience cricket at the highest level.
“We’ve seen more and more children and
families attend matches at Edgbaston and many have already experienced
hospitality in one of our suites.
“Now with the introduction of the first
dedicated family hospitality package at a UK cricket venue, we hope it will
encourage more families to take up the opportunity to experience
world-class cricket in a fun, friendly and relaxed environment.”
The addition of the inaugural season of The Hundred in 2020 will bring a new way of watching cricket.
Edgbaston are set to host five Birmingham Phoenix home games throughout July and August under coach Andrew McDonald. Further details on all premium, experiential packages will be released in early 2020.
