SOHAIL Tanvir made T20 cricket history on Tuesday as he took 5-3 to help Guyana Amazon Warriors trounce Barbados Tridents by 99 runs.
Tanvir’s five-for was the most economical in the history of T20, featuring a staggering 22 dot balls and an economy rate of 0.75.
After Guyana had made 158-8 Tanvir proceeded to dismantle Barbados. A four-wicket opening spell removed both Eoin Morgan and Kieron Pollard for golden ducks en route to skittling Guyana’s main rival for the final play-off spot for 59.
