Carlson comes of age to dent Surrey hopes

GLAMORGAN’S Kiran Carlson hit a maiden T20 half-century to deny Surrey the chance of going joint top of the T20 Blast South Group on Tuesday night.
The 20-year-old Welshman struck 58 off 32 balls to guide Glamorgan to victory at the Oval – a ground they have never lost at in this format.
Surrey started positively, after choosing to bat, with openers Jason Roy and Aaron Finch smashing 54 inside 5.3 overs before both internationals were caught.
