STEVE Davies reckons batting alongside global T20 superstar Babar Azam helped him get his eye back into white-ball cricket as Somerset set a county record en route to beating Worcestershire by 16 runs at Edgbaston.
Somerset’s 229-8 was their highest ever T20 score outside Taunton and was largely built on a 90-run opening stand between Pakistan T20 captain Babar (42) and Davies (60 off 35).
