LUKE Wright admits Sussex once again did things the hard way but was relieved to secure a home quarter-final with a four-wicket win over Essex. George Garton was the star as his 4-21 restricted the Eagles to 136-9 at Chelmsford but Sussex made heavy weather of the chase and needed Garton’s unbeaten 34 to triumph with ten balls to spare.
