PHIL Salt and George Garton may only be 24, but it was their maturity that impressed Sussex skipper Chris Jordan as the Sharks kicked off their T20 campaign with a five-wicket win over Gloucestershire in Bristol.
Sussex had looked in a world of trouble when Garton joined Salt in the middle, reduced to 52-4 chasing a formidable target of 178.
However Salt anchored the innings, making an unbeaten 77, with Garton chipping in with a 25-ball 46 as they put on 92 to turn the match around.
