SUPERSTARS Ben Stokes and Cameron Bancroft were in inspired form as they helped Durham past Birmingham Bears at Edgbaston in the Vitality Blast.
England all-rounder Stokes – just back from a finger injury – hit 35 from 20 balls with the bat and followed that up with 4-27 with the ball as he led the Durham assault.
But the north-east side were also indebted to a fine 60 off 45 balls from captain Bancroft as they eased to a 34-run victory.
