RICARDO Vasconcelos was again the hero for Northamptonshire Steelbacks, as he steered them to a seven-wicket win against Lancashire Lightning.
The South African hit an unbeaten 78 in the Steelbacks’ win at Durham on Wednesday and he was at it again at Wantage Road, hitting 41 off 38 balls to set up a successful run chase of 131.
Lightning batted first but only hit three sixes in their 130-7, with Steven Croft top-scoring with an unbeaten 35.
