A SCINTILLATING century from Alex Hales helped Notts Outlaws edge past Lancashire Lighting to stay top of the North Group.
England outcast Hales was the star of the show, smashing a fine unbeaten 101 off just 66 balls –a knock which consisted of 12 fours and four sixes and left the Lancashire bowlers bemused and befuddled.
Victory was crucial to both sides with the Outlaws knowing a win would keep them top of the table, while Lancashire were looking to move closer to a top four play-off spot.
