ENGLAND seamer Ollie Robinson suffered defeat on his return to senior cricket as Gloucestershire swept aside previously unbeaten Sussex Sharks at Hove to go top of the South Group table.
Robinson had taken a brief break from the game after his Test debut against New Zealand, which was overshadowed when racist and sexist tweets he posted when he was 18 surfaced.
But despite taking a wicket with only his third ball, the 27-year-old was unable to prevent the Sharks from slipping to a 27-run defeat to Gloucestershire.
