Great Scott: Scott Currie took four wickets as a rejuvenated Hampshire Hawks stunned highflying Somerset
HAMPSHIREthrashed Somerset by 75 runs to lift themselves off the bottom of the South Group.
A second straight win for the Hawks was achieved despite missing captain James Vince and Liam Dawson, as Lewis McManus shone in their absence with an unbeaten 60 in the 175-6 total.
Scott Currie took 4-24 in response as Somerset were bundled out for just 100 in 16 overs, giving Chris Wood’s side a second Ageas Bowl win of the Blast campaign.
