BROOKE GUEST smashed a boundary off the final ball to seal Derbyshire’s six-wicket win over Durham after a nervy run chase at Chester-le-Street.
Dominic Cork’s side needed a single off the final ball bowled by Ben Raine which wicket-keeper Guest sent crashing into the ropes.
The Falcons chased down Durham’s 176-9 after Alex Thomson recorded impressive figures of 3-23 from his four overs.
With the bat, an unbeaten partnership of 64 between Guest (34) and skipper Matt Critchley (33) in just six overs took the visitors to only a fourth victory of the season.
