Now that the Ashes drama is over, England’s Yorkshire batting star Harry Brook has switched his concentration to The Hundred and beyond that to the forthcoming T20I series against New Zealand, starting at the end of this month and stretching into September.
While the return of Ben Stokes to the 50-over squad and England’s incredible white-ball bench strength means that Brook, 24, misses out on a World Cup berth, he is as good as certain to be returning to India in January for a five-Test series, finishing in March.
