Tash cuts a dash on comeback trail

Tash Farrant is learning to be kind to herself and play the long game after two years of injury hell.
The left-arm quick’s star appeared to be approaching its zenith when she topped the wicket-taking charts with 18 victims in the inaugural Hundred tournament in 2021, a feat which sealed her place on the plane to the 2022 Women’s World Cup with England.
Farrant, however, was struck down early that year with a stress fracture of the back and while she returned briefly in 2023, the condition recurred, sending her to the side-lines once more.
