Chief Giles left frustrated by latest freak injury woe

ASHLEY Giles has lamented England’s recent injury woes after Ben Foakes was forced to pull out of the squad for the New Zealand series after a slip in the Kia Oval dressing room led to him pulling his hamstring.
The Surrey wicketkeeper was set for a first home Test appearance at Lord’s on Wednesday but will once again find himself behind Jos Buttler in the pecking order once he recovers from the kind of freak injury that has hit England with bizarre regularity in recent months.
