All-rounder Andre Russell has been banned from cricket for one year by an independent anti-doping panel after missing three drugs tests.
Russell failed to tell authorities where he was on three occasions in 2015 and under the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) rules, that equates to one failed doping test.
The ban is effective from today (January 31) with Patrick Foster, Russell’s lawyer, saying he would discuss all options with the West Indian including appealing the ban.
