Warner finds form at last to steer Hawks to play-offs

DAVID Warner’s return to cricket was never going to be easy, but the disgraced former Australian vicecaptain has certainly looked out of sorts.
Banned for a year by Cricket Australia for his role in March’s Cape Town balltampering scandal, Warner took up the mantle as the Winnipeg Hawks captain in the Global Twenty20 Canada with a point to prove.
But having scored just 12 runs in his first five innings, the 31-year-old’s struggles had left his Hawks side’s play-off position in danger with one game remaining.
