SRI LANKA Cricket is embracing a new dawn. Though they failed to begin on the perfect note against Bangladesh, they ended the tour on high, courtesy of a consolation win in the three-match One-Day series in Dhaka.
While the series defeat hurt, it hailed the dawn of a new era under head coach Mickey Arthur and captain Kusal Perera.
A number of seasoned senior campaigners were axed from the squad to make way for a new breed with one eye on the 2023 World Cup in India.
