Covid call-off holds up Aussies

A POSITIVE Covid-19 case forced the second one-day international between Australia and West Indies scheduled for Thursday to be called off just moments before the first ball was due to be bowled.
Australia were looking to wrap up the three-match series with a game to spare after winning the curtain-raiser in Barbados two days earlier by 133 runs.
But the second contest was postponed before the action could get underway after one member of West Indies’ backroom team tested positive.
