MOHAMMAD Hafeez created history in helping Pakistan open up a 1-0 T20i series lead in Guyana last night.
The 40-year-old off-spinner conceded just six runs in four overs for one wicket – the most economical fourover spell in the history of T20i cricket.
And it helped Pakistan defend an above-par total of 157-8 despite a fine display of big-hitting late on from West Indies’ Nicholas Pooran, who smashed an unbeaten 62 in 33 balls, including six sixes.
