Saud Shakeel hit an unbeaten double hundred to inspire Pakistan to a four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the first Test at Galle.
The left-hander finished on 208 not out in Pakistan’s first-innings total of 461, in reply to Sri Lanka’s 312. Set a target of 131 by the hosts, the visitors chased the runs down on Thursday, with Shakeel contributing a crucial 30 as Pakistan went 1-0 up in the two-Test series.
