It was a ruthless performance from Eoin Morgan’s side, who had their captain deliver with a knock of 88 and watched spinner Adil Rashid claim 3-49.
Set the target of 257 after Virat Kohli top scored for the visitors with 71, England had James Vince open alongside Jonny Bairstow with Jason Roy sidelined through a lacerated finger.
