ENGLAND are currently blessed with fine keepers but Alex Davies offers something different.
The Lancashire man has just finished his best season, hitting 916 first-class runs, including three centuries.
But, unlike most glovemen, his runs have come at the top of the order rather than the middle.
After a 2016 ruined by an injury that prompted Lancashire to sign Dane Vilas as cover, it was quite a comeback by Davies, now in Brisbane with the England Lions.
