WARWICKSHIRE pace bowler Olly Stone hopes to be fit for the Third Ashes Test at Headingley – which starts on August 22 – after being sidelined for two weeks by the recurrence of a back injury.
Stone, who was named in the 14 for the first Test but did not make the final XI, was injured in the nets while training with Warwickshire. He first suffered the back problem while on England’s tour of the Caribbean last winter.
