Choosing between hockey and cricket was a tough decision for Sarah Glenn but, after growing up around Denby Cricket Club, her love for batting and bowling was too strong to ignore.
The 20-year-old Loughborough Lightning all-rounder was introduced to the sport by her dad, Phil, and uncle, Mick, who both played for Denby in the Derbyshire Premier Division.
But they weren’t the only members of the Glenn household to be involved.
“My older brother started playing, as did my sister and we all just grew around it”, Glenn said.
