TEN summers on from one of the most significant debuts in recent Ashes history, England will return to the scene of Jonathan Trott’s triumph this week at the Oval, with each passing top-order batting display reminding them of the hole he left and the increasingly pressing need to fill it.
Back then, the Warwickshire batsman arrived for the final Test of the 2009 Ashes pretty much out of a clear blue sky.
