OTHERS may have been amazed by Ben Stokes’ almost super-human efforts at Headingley two weeks ago but Geoff Cook wasn’t among them.
He had seen it all before.
The former Durham coach knows England’s flame-haired star as well as anyone, having overseen his development as a youngster at Chesterle- Street and then marvelled at his progression in the county’s first team.
