Harry Brook has laughed off the noise around the Ashes phoney war by declaring that playing Australia is “just another game”.
In a wide-ranging interview in this month’s Wisden Cricket Monthly magazine, Brook insists that he won’t be treating the Ashes differently to any other Test match.
“It’s the same ball coming down at me and I’ve got to hit it. There might be a few nerves before I go out there and a few days before that, but it’s just another human bowling a little round leather thing at another human, and I’ve got to try and hit it with a bit of wood!
