Since returning at Sydney last year to peel off a brace of cathartic Ashes tons in front of his home crowd, Usman Khawaja has collected seven Test hundreds from 18 games, with his latest masterwork compiled in conditions he’d once despised.
“Go with low expectations,” he had warned on the eve of the tour, after averaging 19 from his six previous Ashes Tests in England.
