IRELAND are to face Somerset in a four-day game in April to prepare for their inaugural Test match against Pakistan.
Somerset will play host to Ireland between April 6 and 9.
Ireland will then face Pakistan in Malahide from May 11 to 15.
Ireland’s former Somerset spinner George Dockrell said: “Everyone is buzzing ahead of the historic first Test and this game will be a great help. I have some great memories from my time in Somerset.”
