WHEN the then 20-year-old Karl Carver was launched for six sixes in an over by Worcestershire’s Ross Whiteley in a T20 Blast game in July 2017 it changed the Yorkshire left-arm spinner’s outlook.
He was promptly dropped from the side and has not played in the Blast again. But T20 redemption, of a sort, has come this winter Down Under as his death bowling has had a key role in Dandenong becoming the Victoria state T20 champions.
