World Cup reprieve: Sarfaraz Ahmed
SARFARAZ Ahmed has thanked the Pakistan Board for standing by him after he retained the captaincy for the World Cup despite being banned for making a racist comment.
Ahmed was banned for four games after he was heard on a stump microphone using the word “kaale” which means black during the South Africa series.
Ahmed said: “The reality is the last few weeks have been extremely difficult for me as a person and professional. But I am delighted the PCB has reassured its confidence and faith in me.”
