HAMPSHIRE’S Will Smith showed his experience as he smashed 130 runs and bowled a tight ten-over spell as his side squeezed home against the Unicorns in their opening match of the Second XI Trophy.
Smith opened the batting and sent Hants well on their way to posting a good total with his innings – lasting over three hours – the stand-out batting performance.
But the veteran, who is now 34 years old, showed no sign of fatigue and managed to bowl his allocated ten overs with impressive figures of 2-38 in a stunning all-round display.
