IT HAD been a quiet start to the One-Day Cup for Steven Finn but he burst to life to keep Middlesex’s quarterfinal hopes alive.
The England seamer – left out of the Champions Trophy squad – took 4-39 as they beat Glamorgan by 16 runs.
Middlesex have now won two of six to sit fifth in the South Group, while Glamorgan’s hopes of progress are all but over.
And after his best performance of the competition so far, Finn hopes his side have finally found their killer instinct.
