LUKE Wright praised the contribution of the middle order after his century helped Sussex Sharks to a 75-run win over Somerset on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old opener smashed 105 off 87 balls to lead Sussex to 341-7 as they ended Somerset’s unbeaten start to the season at Taunton.
In-form James Hildreth’s 87 put the hosts in good position in reply, but the last five wickets fell for 26 after Danny Briggs (2-51) had him caught and bowled as Somerset finished on 266 all out.
