VARUN Chopra narrowly missed out on a century but Essex reignited their Royal London One-Day Cup hopes with a thumping win over hapless Glamorgan.
Chopra was left stranded on 98 not out in a nine-wicket victory over the Welsh side at Chelmsford that keeps Essex right in the hunt for the knockout stages.
