ENGLAND captain Eoin Morgan smashed a 69-ball hundred as Middlesex concluded another disappointing one-day campaign with a 33-run victory over Gloucestershire in Bristol.
Opener Paul Stirling also hit an unbeaten 127 as he put on 156 with Morgan and their total of 322-3 proved beyond their West Country rivals.
Despite Ian Cockbain’s unbeaten ton, Gloucestershire were bowled out for 289, thus ending their slim knockout hopes.
