NOTTINGHAMSHIRE put themselves in position to qualify for the knockout stages of the Royal London One-Day Cup as the North Group produced an explosive finale yesterday.
Top-of-the-table rivals Warwickshire and Worcestershire met in a winner-takes-all showdown for an automatic semifinal berth but an eight-wicket win over Derbyshire at Trent Bridge left Notts in prime position to snatch at least a place in the quarter-finals.
