“It doesn’t get more special than this,” said Uganda captain Brian Masaba after his side triumphed in a low-scoring contest against Papua New Guinea in Guyana to claim their first ever World Cup victory.
Inspired by the 43-year old off-spinner Frank Nsubuga, whose figures of 4-2-4-2 were the most economical in T20 World Cup history, the Cricket Cranes restricted PNG to 77 from 19.1 overs, Hiri Hiri top-scoring with 15.
