IT has gone from bad to worse for Sri Lankan cricket since India touched down over a month ago – and there does not appear to be any respite.
Centuries from Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma led a ruthless India to a daunting total of 375-5 in the fourth ODI in Colombo yesterday.
That looked to be beyond a Sri Lankan team which lost Niroshan Dickwella and Kusal Mendis early in their chase to add to the on and off-field crises caused by a 3-0 Test series whitewash on home soil and with the five-match ODI series already gone.
